Resolution 1 – Passed

October 23, 2017 – Edmonton, AB: Resolution 1 was brought forward at the 2017 AAAHT AGM on October 14, 2017.

The Resolution, which reads, “To amend the operating name of the Alberta Association of Animal Health Technologists” to the “Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association” (ABVTA), passed unanimously by all in attendance.

This brings our Association into alignment with the other Canadian Technologist Associations by uniting us all under the same title (both professionally as well as our Association names).

We will be unveiling a revised logo as well as some branding changes on our website and social media accounts over the next few months.

We thank everyone for your involvement, encouragement and participation in this momentous and exciting change.
